haven't actually read this one but based off the comments it seems like every character other than the mc is unlikeable. and three girls have a crush on him. yikes.
racist?
mc has a seriously inconsistent personality and it REALLY shows in chapter three. He goes from ruthless with his opponent, to cutesy (ugh..) about winning, to cunning (????) with his plan like pick a personality dude..
Another commenter pointed this out too, that the author doesn't put any effort into characterising the mc for the first two chapters, so you don't care about what he's doing. it doesn't help that a ton of exposition is just shoved down your throat all the time
Definitely not bad at all! but I'm dropping it pretty early in because mc has this whole romantic subplot that totally halts the action. ..and that he's a fully realised adult but his "lover" completely turned into a child.. hopefully this is like cleared up later or smth, but i probably won't stick around to find out
mc is interesting i guess but it feels like the story isn't actually moving? it's fine if it happens once or twice but when it keeps happening over and over again you start to notice pretty quickly. every time an arc ends we never see the characters from it again and if we do it's very brief so it feels like huge waste of time. it's like rinse and repeat with this one. Not to mention character development is unheard of..
where did mc learn everything he knows? did i miss something??
literally so mad. beginning was SO promising and it was too good to be true. WHY was he hit with memory loss??? stopping the momentum of a story that was really good for a less interesting, more convoluted story doesn't make me wanna stay!! his personality completely changed too like what? and why is there a romantic (??) subplot with his moms lookalike?? cafe girl is right there..
also, it doesn't make much sense to me that this life is his first time experiencing complex emotions.
I'm not really sure what makes this kinda hard to read? like the artstyle is good, and the premise is decent. I guess it's because the main character is pretty uninteresting.. once he took off his mask and looked like every protagonist ever he lost whatever mysterious appeal he could've had.
it might be because you're just watching him do stuff instead of idk, experiencing it? it just feels kinda hollow.
I literally groaned when the game screen showed up..
Something that annoyed me as well was that mc kept preaching about having nothing, even though as soon as he got that sword he's immediately on a different level than commoners. It even mentions that normal people wouldn't be able to learn sword aura. If the author wanted to emphasise his hard work ethic was the whole reason he was strong, he should've learned everything without a hero instructor.
dropped ch.1.. my fault, i just can't with the orange haired girls design. it's so corny to me for some reason
fucking awful. wtf is wrong with the mc? am i supposed to like him??? why did he get mad when the other guy called him a worthless incel leech when he literally is??? all he does is bum around all day without a job looking at porno mags.
also saving a demon for no real reason other than that she LOOKS like a kid is a terrible reason????
