There is something about this story that is so intriguing. It is a very atypical BL, resembling more shounen. That may be the appeal because it is very focused on plot(politics) and a bold art style. But, it’s not childish, shown by the artistic mood, Futhermore, the MC is the top, which is already pretty rare, and the ML is actually really capable but kind of aloof. It’s a terrific read.
I love stories with unique characters! Although Yoo-Geon doesn’t like how he is famous for an incident from a long time ago, which his mother constantly brings up to others, the character that was displayed stays true; he is kind and caring, something that is hard to fake for a long period of time. To Ian, however, it seems that Yoo-Geon is only being nice to him and others to maintain his reputation. Little does he know that Yoo-Geon genuinely likes being with him :0
It’s funny. It’s kind of messed up how the “will” worked, but it’s funny to see how incompetent the guys are at raising a child. Not to mention, they both have very different approaches, like your typical mothers and fathers. Also, it’s cute how one of them really didnt want to become the child’s guardian, yet he still ends trying his best to be a good parent because the other guy is “too unfit” according to him.
This is just a time-killing fun shounen ai. The art and characters are adorable. You wouldn’t think that it has a complex plot, but it does. Surprise! It definitely made me addicted for a few nights. But, I’m gonna be frank and say that it’s like many other shounen ais. It’s unnecessarily long (more than 100 chapters), and I also started getting lost in the plot. Maybe my brain is just bad and yours is better
Really really good manga. The personalities fit like puzzle pieces. The mc’s personality is refreshing; he seems carefree and naive, but he is very sincere and gone through a lot in the past. I love how his heroic ideals get a reality check from Arima. The art is nice too. The story is melancholic. It’s funny and lighthearted at first, but the ugly truth gradually reveals itself.
