Really interesting plot! And the characters are not cookie cutter at all! Even the “antagonist” of you can call him that, has a lot of depth to him. One of my first and favourites . sad we didnt get to see them dating
the retranslations changed my perspective a little. i already loved it soo much but i agreed that it seemed that takeo was a bit too easygoing and took Mc's feelings lightly. but the retranslations changed/cleared up the dialogue so that it showed that takeo was looking out for and thinking about him the whole time. im so glad i reread it and i seriously love it soooo much ugh
argggg i loved how they both learned things and grew from each other. it has that thing i like where they say exactly the thing that the other person wants to hear and it makes them happy, bc it satisfies me. i like how their relationship was built off mutual admiration. also pacing and plot and dialogue was so amazing and REALISTIC like yes that how people act. the relationship between yuu and his mum was different that i expected in a good way it was soo touching. chemistry was godly
ok firstly i just wanna say its so fucking hot and secondly its so fucking cute. the angst of him being torn up on having a crush on seto, and then after seto comes over and jerks him off, that shit was top tier. the confession was asloo sooo cute cause they were both confused and trying to work things out. the plot was also super unique and the chemistry was amazing
I like how real they were acting, the ending was executed so perfectly!! And the relationship between blondie and the old man + the old man’s son was so well written and realistic. Also the way that they met when they were younger and got closer, mwah, chefs kiss. also even the whole abusive company subplot and coworker thing was super interesting
the tearful apology was so fuckin raw and real i loved it so much, it was the perfect grovel. ahhh, and the way reese tried to put distance between them but ultimately caved was too cuutee arg i love themso much. super unique plot and character personalities. i love the way the trauma was portrayed too
fuck i loved it SO MUCH. the relationship between them is soo sweet and the chemistry has me in a chokehold. they both grew from each other, but it was also delicious to taste the crumbs of angst from yuuichi's relationship with his shitty ex, and trying to pull away from fear of being hurt. its 100x better cause he says "if you leave me i dont think ill ever recover". theyre both sweethearts who care so much for each other and yuuchichi is such a cutie patootie.
FIRST OF ALL having sex to survive is hot af and just the way they fell in love is so cute. both of their backstories are heartbreaking but theyve both resovled to be good people and thats so admirable. i also love how theyre dedicated to each other but not in a creepy obsessive way, and they both were careful and concious of the other and checking for consent HELL YESS. soo much gore (>_<;;)
