"Reading this manhwa was like digging a hole and watching yourself fall into it. You know how it will end, you expected it but you still went on all the while expecting hurt." -UnsweetenedNotBitter
Part of a review for this manga and I couldn't have said it better myself! You know the story will make you cry from the very start, but they have a truly wonderful relationship. 100% worth the read. I have reread it multiple times, despite finding the tragedy genre difficult to read.
When I say that this story is well written, I mean it is WELL WRITTEN.
Yoshino is the granddaughter of a Yakuza head who lived a peaceful life in the country until an arranged marriage thrusts her into an unfamiliar world of danger and politics unlike what she never experienced before. The story follows Yoshino as she adapts to her new life, uncovering the dangerous secrets of the Yakuza world and does her best to navigate her way through it while surrounded by strangers she can't trust.
