— late addition because i read this on another site
— a lot of the characters are realistic but Oh God does yool hit too close to home
TBC
— season 1 was hard to read due to the lack of consent…
— the plot & art *chef’s kiss* tho! jaeshin & nok’s lives are woven together & they don’t even know it—crazy! + the characters are well fleshed out as they are intriguing
— jaeshin’s development is so good bc even if he gets better, he doesn’t lose his core character!
— nok too! our prince always stands his ground despite the shit he’s going through!
— the story has some dark themes concerning kitahara (as an omega, he has to deal with a lot of shit) but his relationship with ichijo is built on good trust and consistent efforts!
— kitahara’s family and schoolmates (minus his friends) can all go to hell.
— ichijo is an angel and when his family was introduced, it made perfect sense.
— healthy omegaverse relationship? no miscommunication bullshit? a rare gem!
— 240315 update: IT HAS VOLUME 2!!!!
— sui is built to be put in my pocket. thank you for coming to my tedtalk :D
— and harutora is a whole grass field! he’s greener than a grass!
— their relationship is so cute and the communication. God. i love how they try their best to be honest with each other and the mutual respect is just so heartwarming.
— “you care for me so much, so i thought i’d care for me, too.” ROMANCE IS ALIVE
— oh and fuck sui’s classmates ^_^
— still ongoing (currently at 10 translated chapters)
— childhood friends to lovers
— they’re so smitten for each other
— they’re just happy to be in love
— i really love countryside stories so much hehe (e.g., our sunny days, love tractor)
— watch the anime because the music is immaculate
— “i was able to do my best to nudge them in the right direction. i did it. i can do this much. i proved myself. i’m satisfied.” i will always root for uenoyama’s success and happiness in everything because that boy is so so selfless
— the characters all feel… human—they are flawed, they make mistakes, but it is what sparks the connection to us, readers.
— if you’ve read given, this is written by the same author so you can see some familiar themes!
— kameda and ogikawa’s story is my favorite! very lighthearted
— while shibata is my favorite character, he’s so carefree
— sado and nakajo’s story got a little kick tho…
— i thought sihwa is gonna be a complete trash of an ml (his first impression is not exactly good, okay?), but he surprisingly listens to sohan well in his own stubborn way—if that makes sense.
— i love sohan as an mc—he’s got personality!
— sihwa’s backstory is much sadder than he lets on…
— i absolutely ADORE gabin
— fuck sohan’s dad and sihwa’s mom
— from the author of ‘chicken heart serenade’
— the translation is still ongoing but i’ve already read the raws!
— the posters were huge secondhand embarrassments but kei was pretty chill about it so you just have to steel yourself through…
— tomoya is such a good kid and a hardworker too! i’m so glad kei showed appreciation in his efforts
— tomoya’s groupmates are very chill too! i would love a spin-off!
