T: Uke was in toxic (emotional abuse, manipulation) relationship. Homophobia.
S: Seme is closet gay who's also in denial of gayness. Uke is openly gay but was in a bad relationship. When their respective relationships end, it opens the door to them spending time with each other instead. That is when Seme realizes acting cool is lame in comparison to Uke, who is honest about his thoughts without being mean and stays true to who he is. They grow and heal because of each other.
T: Underage sex
S: Seme is a pretty boy with a slender body who hides his fangs behind a charming smile. Falls in love with Uke, who is a burly, tall dude who likes cute things, cats, and just wants to be treated like a princess. Usual Seme/Uke trope is subverted, where Seme is manly man and Uke is the pretty one.
A (Chp 1-4, 5.5), B (Chp 5)
T: None come to mind. Doesn't mean none apply, I'm just saying I can't think of any lol.
S:
>>A: Seme is a sly dad who falls for Uke and comes onto him first. Uke is super sweet and instantly falls for Seme's child, which makes Seme love him even more.
>>B: Seme gets jealous over Uke's fan-crushing over friend. But even when drunk, Uke can only think of Seme.
Sister Story to Ookami ~no. 5, above this one~
v2c5 includes future romance of kids when teens.
T: Homophobia from Uke's ex
S: Seme falls in love with Uke while Uke is in unrequited love. Seme consistently proves this love to Uke, who learns to trust Seme. Seme is blunt guy who doesn't overcomplicate things while Uke is sensitive and tends to overcomplicate. In the end, Seme loves fully w/o reserve, Uke loves with whole heart.
Omegaverse AU.
T: Uke raped during HS, years before meeting Seme. Some dubcon w/Uke and Seme, but only cuz Uke tends to not speak up & Seme can get ahead of himself. But in the end, it's consensual.
S: I love the worldbuilding of A/B/O. Uke and Seme stabbed me in the heart w/feels and I just loved their relationship. The daughter, Shizu, made the story even better than it already was. Side characters breathed life into story. And mothers had wonderful representations.
Omegaverse AU
Triggers: Body insecurity, Accidental Markings
Story: Uke looks like a stereotypical alpha rather than the usual omega, causing a complex, esp when thinking it's turnoff for Seme. But after Uke confesses his feelings, Seme proves that his body is just as desirable as any omega, and their love continues from there.
Triggers: Very pushy Seme, even if Uke truly wanted to turn down marriage proposal, Seme would make it very difficult
Story: Seme proposes to Uke when they were children, but Uke points out they can't get married cuz they're guys. Seme grows up to become minister and despite having lost contact for years, comes back to Uke to fulfill promise they made as kids.
Triggers: Underage sex, Seme is very pushy and borderline manipulative (also possessive and has no interest in being friends w/Uke, only boyfriends, so there's that too)
Story: Uke is a short boy who wants to be cool and manly like the Seme, so he approaches Seme with that goal in mind. Seme, however, shows Uke that not only is he fine the way he is, but cooly and manly enough already. In the end, Uke realizes that he prefers Seme over any cute girl any day.
Omegaverse AU.
Triggers: Goddamn miscommunication as plot device, dubcon cuz heat is driving sexual encounters (tho they made agreement to be partners beforehand)
Story: Uke at first thought he was a beta until, one day, his heat comes and proves he's an omega. Seme, his BFF, arrives just in time to help w/Uke's heat. But cuz they've been friends for so long, their familiarity w/each other can hinder progress. Chp 5-6.3 made the story.
Triggers: Homophobia, emotionally abusive/manipulative mother, Uke is philophobic, Seme is pushy
Story: Uke and Seme knew each other since HS. However, Uke fell in love w/Seme and ran away, cutting off contact. On chance, they reunite later and Seme jumps on this chance to make sure Uke stays by his side this time. Together, they build a relationship together and help the other become a better person.
