Incredibly sweet story about an adorable chubby boy with a crush on the baseball team captain. And also an incredibly sweet story about a baseball team captain with a crush on an adorable chubby boy.
One of the most gorgeous stories I've ever read. I love the art. It is so beautiful. And I love the way the dialogue is pretty sparing. A lot is said in the drawing. Definitely in my top 10.
An adorable little story told in the form of a couple reminiscing about when they first knew they liked each other. It starts in a gym class and then flashes forward to them having lunch together ten years later talking about the incident. Very, very cute.
A guy with a whole lot of issues, who cut ties with his family a long time ago, falls in love and is inspired to let some of his old baggage go and also to reconnect with his family. It's a story about healing and being made stronger through love.
A guy has a had time believing, for various reasons, that his relationship with his boyfriend is going to last in the long term. The boyfriend won't let him run away, in pretty much the gentlest way possible. He just picks him up (literally), sits him back down, and tells him just to trust him. It's gonna work.
A long-term couple goes on vacation and one contemplates what it means to be together forever while the other guy is in the bath.
Another mismatch. Delinquent with a scary looking face glares at the object of his affection, a nice guy, all the time because he's embarrassed by how much he likes him. I love how their relationship develops (bear-shaped bento) and how sweet this scary looking dude ends up being to the guy he loves. Even standing up to his older brother when he comes around.
You would not expect what you'll get from this manga at all from the cover. It is not a dark story. It's a very nice story, about families reconnecting. About following artistic passion. About friends falling in love. Plus art is great and the tattoos are beautiful. It's a beautiful story. I wish there were more.
So a guy asks out what he believes to be a girl, but is actually a classmate in drag. When he finds out, he doesn't care and still wants to go out. The other guy does want to as well, but is hung up on how he will be viewed by society. I liked that his fears were given weight and validity and not trivialized. That's a perfectly legitimate thing to be afraid of. But he still comes to terms with himself and who he likes and the ending is lovely and hopeful.
"Negative-kun To Positive-kun". Truth in advertising. But it's sweet and adorable how dedicated these two are to one another despite their differing personalities. When the always nice, cheery one gets mad at someone for talking down his gloomy boyfriend and lists all of his good qualities...man, that's a heart-clutching moment if ever there was one.
