This was a beautiful gem. Given how short this is, Makato and Maki's romance was perfectly drawn out and developed. If soft-hearted yakuza romance is your ideal, then this is perfect for you.
I felt like the plot could have benefitted from additional chapters. It felt a little rushed, but that was more than made up for by the comedy. I was almost crying from laughing at the story. A very short and cute mafia read.
While reading the summary I thought this was going to be a short, cutesy story about a naive yakuza boss who just wants to be a idol fan-boy. And that is mostly what I got, but I also got Hella yandere vibes from the idol in question Alto, AKA Kouichirou. There were some very iffy moments where I got uncomfortable, but Asuza didn't think anything bad about his questionable actions and just stayed head-over-heels in love with him. So all's well that ends well????
