it is so tragic at the start and gets really meta but is one of the best reincarnation manhwas I have ever read. A lot of people say that the FL is a crybaby but I kinda love it. Like it really expressing how much pain she feels for the villain. Amazing art style. 10/10
About a girl who reincarnates into a romance novel as a side character. Instead of trying to be the center of attention, she just wants to watch from afar but ends up catching the attention of one of the main leads. 10/10 very addicting and great, unique art style.
Beautiful art and an equally beautiful ending. It really gives both the characters and readers peace at the end. It also has a unique perspective on the whole reincarnation element. It's nicely paced and the 3rd season is probably my favorite. It's also really rare to find a reincarnation manhwa that isn't centered around Europe. 10/10
HOLY SHIT. This manhwa is so fucking spicy and omg the male lead is just . Plz their relationship is so cute and the art is one of the best Ive ever seen. Literal masterpiece 10/10 (If you couldn't tell already, everything on this list is going to be 10/10)
Minhee is a child piano prodigy from a broken family. Her dad left her and her mom went insane. Her love of piano is the only thing keeping her going and through it, she meets Mr. Eun, a piano teacher. This manhwa is an emotional rollercoaster and really fits the drama tag. The development through all the characters (even the antagonists) is beautifully portrayed. It has some romance but more along the lines of how she grows from it through toxic relationships and infatuation. A solid 10/10
Ma Go-eun is a traumatized and emotionless girl who runs a haunted house in an amusement park. She no longer has money to run it and enters a competition to win 1 million dollars by staying at a haunted mansion for 15 days. It is supposedly the scariest challenge as it is run by the Ghost Jack, who died in an attempted suicide and haunts that residence. Both characters have awful backstories and the story itself plays out fairly well. The art is a bit rough which I feel fits the aura. 10/10
Its sooooo long but so cute! Tomo-chan (an airheaded tomboy who's a master at karate) and her fiend Jun have known eachother since childhood. She gained feelings for him a while back but he doesnt eeven see her as a girl (yet). It is so pure and literally adorable. It has one page per chapter so it's not as overwhelming as it looks either! A total 10/10 for me
God there is just so much to talk about with this. WARNING There is a short but very triggering scene entailing pedophilia and rape. The main character, Taiga, decides to join the drama club because of his dream to become an actor. There he meets Maria (actually a guy named Arima) and falls in love immediately. It goes through the heart-wrenching past of Arima and how Taiga helps him get through it. The story is mostly centered around their trauma and how their actions reflect it. 10/10
A girl named Miko decides to move into a shared house that's run by her Uncle, there she encounters Matsunaga who initially comes off as scary. I don't normally go for Japanese shoujos because of the cringy or gross tropes but I really enjoyed the story of this. One of the main things I love is the inclusion of the secondary love interests. They are woven into the story well and you grow to love them as any other character. It deals with the age-gap in an appropriate manner and it really flows.
Yechan has the ability to read people's thoughts but in exchange, cannot see their faces. This causes her a lot of emotional turmoil and she has ended up very lonely as a result. One day she meets a customer at her job who's face she can see but a mind she cannot read. I love how the author has shaped their backstories and portrays her condition so realistically. Thought this was a cute fluffy romance but jesus ch 39 scared me so much I was fr shocked; It changed the entire feel of the story!
