It was so chaotic, but I loved it. The characters all had multiple imperfections that fit them and always incorporated in the character. The world was brutal and even though Takezo/Musashi was strong, you never once felt like he was op but always deadly. Even other main characters like Kojiro, reading his backstory didn't feel out of place and it plays it the plot and Musashi life cause everything just intertwines.
Phenomenal world building, amazing art, great character dynamics and no romance. none that really matters anyways. Senkuu is a top tier protaganist, ridiculously brilliant but not in away that feels drained out and the other characters are also significant. Chrome who understands science purely by real life application. Saiku? watermelon girl who pulls through whenever they need to. Tsubasa who had an ideology that you could understand but you could also see the hypocrisy in its judgement.
The first ecchi manga I ever read without it having an anime to it. It was hot as fuck at the time and shaped me into the culture I am today. I honestly remember nothing in detail but that sis use to somehow sense this dude peeping at her and processed to give him a nude show which is just *chef’s kiss*
An actual mature relationship with consent, a couple that accepts that they are gay and they are in their thirties so straight up dilfs
It’s so good, goes really in on societal beauty standards and how it can negatively influence someone’s mindset especially if they have foreseeing issues in their lives. It shows characters going through their own lives, and appropriate time skips and changes that either brings people closer to the mc or brings them apart but they always eventually get better. And lastly the mc was so realistic and someone anyone can see them, she has flaws and this is an amazing read I would recomme
This is not a manga I would recommend to someone if they asked me, but it’s a guilty pleasure that I can’t help but love cause it itches my brain in a good way. And it’s the most the closet has no door and it’s walls are made out of glass, it’s in denial and they just need to step out and realize making this bl causes them to have nothing to lose
This finished way too early and I wish it fleshed out more but I still have it high cause it wasn’t the mangaka’s fault. Beyond being a BL (cause there’s technically no women in the d**mon realm of this world) this manga is terrifying as a stand-alone manga. I wish it had more world building but the ending was unique and the build up was immaculate. If you don’t mind gore 10/10 recommend
