The granddaughter of a Yakuza boss enters into an arranged marriage with an EXTremely disturbed young man from another Yakuza household. After seeing how well she puts up with him, he decides to focus all of his obsessive tendencies on her. Despite being able to beat the shit out of everyone he encounters, this guy gives off very strong 'wants to be topped' energy whenever he's around her.
An absurd amount of ignoring one's own feelings and self destructive behaviour. The MCs actions are kind of understandable seeing as she was clearly raised in an abusive household (story glosses that right over tho) and told her choices in society were limited, but I don't understand why the ML is so jaded. Perhaps they'll give him some more backstory further in that will explain but so far all I'm seeing from him is a lot of self loathing and addiction as a coping mechanism.
Reads like the author looked at Lucrezia Borgia's rumour riddled life, The Flowers in the Attic, and Oedipus, and went, "I can do better tho."
