Thank you MC for waking up before it was too late, I mean you lost a rare truly good guy but fortunately you get out before your life, integrity and mental heath was permanently damaged
I admit I saw the end before reading it, I couldn't keep up thinking it was going to be one of those stories when a girl lost her innocence and life all together and the end would be just a pit with her losing everything, with nothing solved in her life
In the end it was a good take about losing your innocence or better losing a idol, yes MC is a adult but she did held up to her innocence to the point of ignorance, as many young adults who dream of a big city and look up to idols, a big city is just another city with her downs and ups can or can not be for you, and Instagram in special is a place to put pretty photos, Jeju was a good person in the end gladly but just a person, and MC needed to see for herself to snap out of her illusions as well as she needed to change cities to see a city is just a city
Famous people mainly the ones who sell a certain lifestyle and Asian idols are not their characters, they sell you a image, the artist behind it is a person like any other, is their job to perform and keep both who they are as a person and their job separated (not that who their are doesn't show in their work quite the opposite, this is the beauty of art, but a commercial art are managed by a commercial team for commercial means not always what we liked about a idol come from the person acting, the company, one of the many manegers, their teachers, screen writers, advisors, mainly their investors they all have a say in everything, if they think showing shyness by covering your smile is a good move so thats how the art will smile)
Gabi wasted Hoon to be honest
A good read to pass some time. Mc is kinda dumb but ig her actions are realistic (?) in a way.
