I’ll rate it a 2.5. It was sweet how they grew up from her dense self to her strong self, and the guy from his lonely self to his “can’t be without her” self, but there was too many annoying things. I thought the girl needed more stronger parts and they have sex almost every chapter. He was kind of forceful, but it kind of matches with his personality since he’s a playboy after all. I also really wish the girl and the others had more character development in it, and the ending was also really sudden and rushed. I felt the other characters were just introduced to fuel jealousy moments, like they don’t really have any other purpose. There honestly wouldn’t have been any change with or without them. Pacing was ok. Overall not too bad, but not too good either.
I think I lost braincells reading this. The plot was clichéd, unoriginal and utterly uninteresting.
The trope of a poor, innocent girl meeting an excessively rich, handsome, famous and popular man is so overused and annoying. I get that it's some women's dream to marry a rich guy and not having to work, but such an unbalanced relationship is just off-putting to me. Especially when the ML is like in this story.
He's arrogant and forceful. He lacks respect for the FL and shows controlling behaviour towards her. Just in the first two chapters, he attempts to force himself on the FL 3 times. One would think that her reaction during the first attempt would've made him understand not to do it again, but no. Without any further romantic development between them, he tries again. And again. Yikes.
